A Show of HANDS Walking Tour

Get to know The Valley of Orange and West Orange

This Spring, join us for a free one-hour walking tour of the Valley Arts District. In addition to learning all about the work of HANDS, you’ll discover why we call it Hat City, see some hidden gems and get a peek at the growing artist community. Tours are scheduled for:

Tuesday evenings, 6:00 - 7:00 pm:
May 15^th Cancelled due to rain

Saturday mornings, 11:00 - noon:
May 19^th Cancelled

We’ll start at Hat City Kitchen , one of many cultural anchors in the Valley (a phenomenal 3-star restaurant and diverse music venue). Your tour will be led by one of our great team members, Pat Morrissy, Molly Rose Kaufman or Andrew Davlouros. Along the way you’ll see the buildings currently being restored and meet some of the folks that live or work in the community, plus get an insiders view of future projects.

the most talented graffiti artists in Essex County and Jersey City.

 

Tourists walk beside the F Berg Hat Factory soon to be the
Hat Factory Arts Center housing artist work studios, galleries,
arts workshops, rehearsal space and arts symposiums.
